LA's Department of Water and Power offers qualified
customers a new energy saving refrigerator to replace their old,
inefficient model or $100 rebate. It also provides residential
customers an incentive of $.14/kWh for qualified PV equipment.

MWD currently
offers up to a $4 rebate per nozzle. These nozzles turn a standard
sprinkler head into a precision device that can water your landscape
better using 20 percent less water.
The latest innovation in irrigation is the smart sprinkler controller, a
device that gives your plants the right amount of water for the time of
year, climate and weather.
Residents saved more than 40 gallons per household per day after
installation, according to one research study. Savings are up to 10
times greater on large landscapes, like those at parks, colleges and
industrial complexes. (Note: to realize significant savings you will
need to have a well-designed and well-maintained irrigation system.
Water-saving toilets, Replace a 3.0 gallons/flush toilet with
one that is 1.6 gallons/flush or less and receive from $30 to $165,
depending on the toilet you select and the incentive offered from your
local water provider. Choose a toilet from one of these lists:
(pressure assisted)- saves water and uses a
compressed air flush;
- saves a lot more water and has been tested
for its performance.
High-efficiency
clothes washers.
Buy a new HECW that uses less water and energy than conventional washers
and qualify for an incentive from your local provider.

Free Trees. The LADWP Trees for a Green LA Program in partnership with
Million Trees LA gives out FREE shade trees to Los Angeles City
residents through the Trees for a Green LA program (TFGLA).
